Dhaakad Bazaar (Powered by FolkandFashion) was born out of the vision to promote local products, ignited during the pandemic by our founder, Miss. Monica Maan.
When she found her love for sharing the beauty of Haryanvi traditional attire, she decided to focus on a special dress called the “daman dress.” This dress, although incredibly beautiful, wasn’t getting the attention it deserved. So, she made it her mission to showcase its elegance and cultural significance to the world.
Realizing the need for a modern touch while preserving the authenticity of the dress, Mrs. Maan embarked on a mission to create a quality product that truly justified its price. Her unwavering dedication earned her numerous accolades and empowered many local females, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives.
Today, Dhaakad Bazaar has expanded its offerings beyond daman dresses. With customers from around the globe, we have successfully delivered over 150 dresses, and our range now includes exquisite jewellery, handicrafts, and handmade items. Our customers’ unwavering support has enabled us to empower and uplift local artisans and small businesses through our website.
Our commitment to cultural authenticity and customer satisfaction extends to every aspect of our operations, including our promise to you for a timely delivery. We respectfully ask our domestic patrons to allow a window of 8-14 business days to receive the treasures of heritage and craftsmanship that you’ve chosen from our collection.
